Yugioh Collectible Tin 2012 Wave 2.5 Prophecy Destroyer
E' stato annunciato un nuovo tin di yugioh, la notizia ha suscitato molto scalpore non tanto per il tin in sè ma per l'immagine della carta che sembra diversa da tutte le altre carte di yugioh e più simile a un'immagine di una carta magic. Molti infatti pensavano che il tin fosse un fake, ma, almeno la carta, è stata confermata sul sito della konami come un'esclusiva TCG della nuova espansione, quindi è probabile che anche la notizia del tin sia vera.

Il deck punta a fare control facendo +1 tramite gli effetti di Spia e Reclutatore (e stele). Grazia a Tributo Reale il mazzo può andare in +x già dal primo turno, e nei casi più fortunati può chiudere la partita in questo modo. Altra carta fondamentale è il Discendente, che va in combo sia con Spia che con Reclutatore. [Principalmente si usa il loop Discendente + Reclutatore, ovvero offri Reclutatore per l'effetto di Discendente e con Reclutatore ne aggiungi un'altra copia alla mano per rifare la combo il turno successivo]. Ovviamente in tutto ciò la magia terreno è di grande aiuto, sia per il considerevole bonus atk/def sia per il suo effetto di bloccare i cimiteri. Altre carte molto buone sono Stele Custode di Tombe, devastante a partita inoltrata, magari a topdeck, e Bacchetta Magica, la quale va in combo con Reclutatore per fare +1 (e se Reclutatore è stato evocato di Spia il tutto diventa un +2 netto). Infine altro Custode di Tombe importante è il Comandante, che possiamo utilizzare sia come un mostro sia come un Terraformare per prendere Necrovalle a seconda delle necessità. Altre carte adoperate possono essere Thunder King Rai-Oh, per l'indubbio vantaggio che dà contro ogni mazzo da meta, Dissimulatore di Effetto, sia per il suo effetto sia per sincronizzare a 9 (scopro Spia, evoco Spia, evoco Dissimulatore e sincronizzo Trishula).
A volte viene giocato anche Gale sia per il suo effetto che per sincronizzare a 7 il Mago di Arcanite.
Per quanto riguarda le magie non tematiche la più importante è di sicuro Libro della Luna, che possiamo utilizzare non solo per bloccare le mosse avversarie ma anche per riattivare l'effetto di Spia. Le altre magie sono solitamente staple come Giara della Dualità in triplice copia, qualche Tifone, Buco Nero
Per quanto riguarda le trappole anche qui troviamo principalmente staple come Avvertimento Solenne, Buco Trappola Senza Fine, Prigione Dimensionale e Cammino Luce di Stelle.
Tra i Gk oltre a quelli citati sopra si è soliti giocare anche l'Assaltatore in monocopia. Altre carte che possono essere utilizzate nel mazzo ma di solito non si vedono quasi mai sono Drago Polvere di Stelle Maligno (per proteggere Necrovalle), Guardia Custode di Tombe (volendo al posto di Assaltatore), Genex Uomo Uccello (per far tornare in mano Spia e riattivarne l'effetto, oltre che per fare Arcanite)
